Technical Challenge: The foundation bolts, some over 3 meters long, needed to maintain perfectly uniform clamping force despite constant thermal expansion and contraction of the entire structure. Traditional hydraulic tensioning was too slow and could not guarantee simultaneous, symmetrical loading across all anchor points, leaving residual stresses that compromised long-term stability.

YIFEX engineered a fully synchronized multi-station hydraulic tensioning system specifically for large-scale foundation applications. The solution included extra-long, high-strength hydraulic tensioners and a centralized digital control console. Our engineers developed a Thermal Compensation Tensioning Protocol, calculating precise target loads that accounted for operational temperature changes. We conducted on-site supervision for the first re-tensioning project, training the plant’s maintenance team on the procedure.
