Technical Challenge: Achieving and maintaining a perfect, leak-free seal on large-diameter, raised-face flanges in volatile service requires exceptionally uniform gasket pressure distribution. Traditional bolt-up methods, even when performed by skilled crews using optimized torque sequences, often resulted in low-pressure spots, creating potential leakage paths.
Our Custom-Engineered Solution
YIFEX implemented a full Synchronized Flange Bolting Program. Utilizing our HMV 150E Hydraulic Nuts and a multi-port tensioning system, all bolts on a flange were stressed simultaneously and precisely to the target preload. We complemented the hardware with comprehensive support, delivering a dedicated virtual training workshop for the client’s bolt-up crew and providing flange-specific load maps for every critical connection.
